The patented raised bed cover is made of hail-proof, UV-resistant plastic. In winter, at sub-zero temperatures, the raised bed cover is fully usable and proves to be perfect protection for your early bed against cold and snow. However, you should regularly remove the snow lying on it so that
- the plants underneath get sunlight,
- the greenhouse effect comes into play and
- the cover is not pressed into the interior of the raised bed by excessive weight.
